Natural Wedding Invitations on Green Grass Paper

If you love natural elements, greenery, and refined details, this wedding tablescape might be exactly what you’re looking for.  Natural wedding invitations made with grass paper, lush greenery, and the most divine cake art blend beautifully in the styled shoot Green Earth.

The Spanish Dramatist Pedro Calderón de la Barca said “Green is the prime color of the world, and that from which its loveliness arises,” and the suppliers in this photoshoot wholeheartedly agree.  Green is the perfect colour for your wedding as it balances an earthy vibe with sophisticated styling.  Your guests will feel like they’ve been transported into the forest for much-needed R&R.

Let’s take a look, shall we?

The Perfect Green Backdrop

The Farmer’s Daughter Events is a beautiful blank canvas for your wedding, with an industrial hanger and plenty of rolling hills.  Narelle organised the best spot to take advantage of the huge trees, and the mountains in the background.  If you come to the Farmer’s Daughter Events Farm around March, take your photos in the brussels sprout patch!

Natural Wedding Invitations with a Twist

Wedding invitations don’t have to be white!  The colours in the Green Earth suite compliment the natural and organic vibe.  The most interesting part of this suite is the grass card stock.  Yes that’s right – it’s made from grass and has the most stunning texture.  It prints amazingly too, in both black and even white ink.  The smooth corners of the card, and the pebble-shaped tag on the front, mirror the organic shapes of the environment.  When your guests sit down for their meal at the reception, they’ll be greeted with a matching pebble-shaped menu with their name at the top, in a textured stone colour.  It’s the little details like this that create the most memorable events.

Cake Art Like You’ve Never Seen Before

Can we all just take a moment to appreciate the cake sculpture from Breearn Murray Cakes?  Yes, that white piece of art in the middle of the table is entirely edible!  Bree wanted to create something out of the box, with organic lines and that special wow factor, and she certainly delivered.  White velvet cake with tangy lemon curd anyone?

A Discerning Eye for Styling

Bringing everything together for the Green Earth concept was Caitlin at Paradise Hunter.  She’s your go-to woman for planning, styling, and on-the-day coordination, and can effortlessly bring your vision to life.  Adding broccoli that really highlighted the presence of the natural earth was genius.  Caitlin paired the greenery with refined details like the decanter, gold cutlery, and linen napkins to finish off the elegant look.

The Little Details

We needed particular pieces to support the sophisticated look. Furniture hire team Always Eventive gave us exactly what we needed with beautiful white Tiffany chairs and the white cake stands.  Let me tell you, you’ll get close to your wedding and realise you need extra elements and décor, and Always Eventive are reliably there for you.  The white pieces elevate the look by popping out from the natural colours of the rest of the tablescape.

A Photographer’s Magic

The natural and earthy vibe would not have come together without the magic of Ada and Ivy Photography. Brenna’s authentic and classic style brought out the beauty of Mother Nature and captured all the spectacular green hues.

I loved creating the concept for this styled photoshoot!  The natural wedding invitations with vibrant greens set the stage for a calming yet strong aesthetic.  Then the talented team of creatives brought their A-game to further highlight and enhance the green vibe.  I know you want to take this inspo and use it in your wedding styling – even the broccoli!
